![]() | Road's End Organics« Gluten Free Penne And Chreese«, Organic, 6 Ounce Boxes (Pack of 12)
Buy new: $27.60 My 5-year-old son likes this brand so much that he recently told me he thinks the mac & chreese we eat "probably tastes better than the mac & cheese in that frozen meal" (one that was being advertised on TV).

![]() | Road's End Organics® Shells & Chreese®, Organic, 6.5 Ounce Boxes (Pack of 12)
Buy new: $21.14 We like the shells, too.
|
![]() | RICE DREAM Rice Drink, Enriched Original, Organic, 8-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 27)
Buy new: $27.42 Thank goodness for Enriched Rice Dream! I have an answer for everyone who cocks an eyebrow at me and says, "What about calcium?" when I tell them my son is on a dairy-free diet. (Not that cow's milk is the answer it's purposed to be, anyway, but I'm not the type of person to launch into a lecture.) My son drinks the Vanilla, and I like the plain (for my coffee and for cooking).

![]() | Tofutti Dairy-Free Cookies, Chocolate Chip, 16-Ounce Pack (Pack of 5)
I haven't tried these cookies but so far I've liked every Tofutti brand product I've had.
|
![]() | Newman's Own®Organics Fig Newmans, Low Fat, 12-Ounce Packages (Pack of 12)
Buy new: $43.23 I don't ordinarily go for low-fat stuff, but these we like -- and I feel good giving them to my kid. It's about the only fruit he eats!
|
![]() | Newman's Own®Organics Alphabet Cookies, Arrowroot, 10-Ounce Bags (Pack of 12)
Buy new: $35.20 Picky Eater Kid likes these too, and they're not chock full of artificial stuff like some brands of animal cookies (and then there are the no-name brands I don't trust...)
|
![]() | Healthy Times Teddy Puffs Finger Food or Cereal for Toddlers, Original, 5.5-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 12)
Buy new: $35.20 At age 5 my son has rediscovered these as a snack; the Apple Cinnamon flavor is good too. And no gluten (for those who care!)
|
![]() | Tinkyada Brown Rice Little Dreams with Rice Bran, 14-Ounce Packages (Pack of 12)
Buy new: $40.00 This pasta is gluten-free; I tried it thinking I might work up the nerve to go gluten-free also. I haven't done the gluten-free diet, but Picky Eater Kid likes these --I think it has something to do with the transportation shapes.
|
![]() | Apple Jack Cereal-in-a-Cup, 0.625-Ounce Bowls (Pack of 96)
Buy new: $40.02 A dairy-free cereal. Yes, full of sugar, but better than nothing in his stomach before school; I try to reserve it as a snack, which I am successful at most of the time.
|
![]() | Pop-Tarts, Brown Sugar Cinnamon, 8-Count Boxes (Pack of 12)
Buy new: $29.16 No milk in this flavor.
|
![]() | Pop-Tarts, Frosted Strawberry, 29.3-Ounce, 16-Count Boxes (Pack of 8)
No milk in this flavor-- for us, a fair snack alternative to worse junk.
|
![]() | Barbara's Bakery Peanut Butter Puffins Cereal, 11-Ounce Box (Pack of 4)
We like the plain Puffins too, and no dairy ingredients.
|
![]() | Lay's Baked Potato Crisps, Original, 1.125-Ounce Bags (Pack of 64)
Buy new: $35.27 Plain chips of many brands are a good snack choice; I like to try to get the Baked version so the kid's not eating too much fat. He likes the exclamation point after "Baked!"
|
![]() | 100 Calorie Packs Teddy Grahams, Mini Cinnamon Cubs, 6-Count Boxes (Pack of 6)
Sometimes it's just nice to be able to give a brand-conscious kid the same thing everyone else has. Cinnamon Teddy Grahams are dairy-free, so I'll get them once in a while.
|
![]() | Gummy Multivitamin for Kids 220 bears
Buy new: $16.95 This isn't the only dairy-ingredient-free gummy vitamin out there, but it's well-tolerated by my gummy-bear-loving kid. If it weren't the real deal, he'd turn up his nose at them. He likes to start his day with his 2 gummy vitamins.
|
![]() | California Baby Bubble Bath - I Love You, 13 oz (Pack of 2)
Not a food, but I love the smell of this stuff. It's expensive, so rather than pouring it into the bathwater, I blow a bunch of bubbles and then they stay in the tub-- this makes great, long-lasting bubbles with the wand.
