The Novice-Cook Kitchen Destruction Team gave the book three-and-a-half stars out of five ("instructions generally clear; lots of chopping, grating and mixing"). Close neighbours reported the aroma-therapy value for appetite stimulation as very high. And the Marketing Manager found little difficulty or expense in obtaining ingredients from the local Asian Grocery store. Very authentic and true to Malaysian cuisine
I've been to Penang and middle Malaysia many times and this cookbook is a great summary of the foods found there. The recipes are easier to prepare than you think. All you need to do is find a local Asian market and all ingredients are available.

Highly recommended to achieve that great mix of Malay, Chinese, Indian, and Thai tastes.
