From the Manufacturer
The Final Fantasy Legend series continues! In this classic RPG adventure, you are on a quest to reunite with your father. In order to find your father, you must travel far and wide to find the scattered fragments of a mystical force, known as Magi. Your quest takes you to several mysterious lands filled with caves, temples, enemy bases, ancient Japanese castles, and much more. Many of the worlds are filled with quirky inhabitants, such as the world of giants. Another world praises beauty but banishes ugliness.
You can choose four heroes to accompany you in your journey. Choose from humans, robots, and even monsters. As the game progresses, you will encounter additional characters that may join your party.
This game features a helpful "Memo" feature that enables you to access important details that supporting characters told you.

this game got me through ninth grade english
magi, seventy-seven pieces scattered throughout various worlds. when brought together they form a statue of the goddess Isis, individually they represent power to their holder. many mortals seek the magi to gain enough power to become a self proclaimed god. you have control over four warriors and sometimes a guest, who are on a quest to gather magi and prevent evil persons from obtaining that power. you have a choice of who you want in your party, a human male/female, mutant male/female(magic users), different monsters who change througout the game, and a robot who increases/decreases HP and stats depending on what he is equipped with. if these don't sound like the ingredients of a fun filled adventure then don't get this game. it is one I will always remember, heck I still have it and play every couple of years.
Childhood brought back on gameboy
I recently found this game deep in my room playing this old school rpg remembered me of all the final fanasty games I had as a past I recomend if you want to ever look back on a kickass game you once played this is a must it basically starts as you go on a adventure and when you leave your school the teacher ask you to bring a few friends along so you choose your team and your teacher comes along but then the mission get's a bit strange I can't tell you much more but BUY THIS GAME!!!!!!!
Old-fashioned, but still fun
I love this game. Sure, the graphics are terrible...and the battles were at times tedious...but something about this game grabbed me.
If you can't stand things that are outdated, definately DON'T get this game.
I wouldn't spend time on this game rather than Chrono Cross, Zelda, or other Final Fantasies...but, it's a good introduction rpg (if you haven't played others, which I hadn't when I first got it) and is wonderful to play on the plane if you have a lot of free time.
