I actually purchased this to use this for a small candle holder (tea lights) as a decorative accent in my home. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this little guy is a very heavy item. As small as he is (he stands just over 5" tall), he weighs about two pounds and can be used as a paperweight if one were inclined to use this as intended (business card holder). Very solid, and I'm very happy. Also, the shipping on this was incredibly fast, so I'm off to rate the seller as well. Thanks!
