Amazon.com Product Description
Blending refined European design with glittery diamond-accented style, this Omega Constellation women's watch offers graceful lines and a slender width for even the more delicate of wrists. Mixing both stainless steel and 18 karat gold, this Constellation offers an appealing balance of luxury, durability, and precision (with its Swiss quartz watch movement). And this watch will capture attention immediately as you walk into the ballroom (or boardroom) with its tiny diamond dial markers and shiny, fully diamond encrusted 18 karat gold bezel. The silver stainless steel bracelet band flows seamlessly from the case and is slightly tapered. It's accented by thin horizontal bands of 18 karat gold that separate the silver links and stretch fully across the width of the band. It's joined by a secure push-button safety clasp.
The shimmery white mother-of-pearl white dial background also includes gold-tone Dauphine hands (with seconds hand). Other features include a scratch-resistant and glare-proofed domed sapphire crystal, a distinctive Cabochon crown, and water resistance to 30 meters (99 feet) The watch case measures 22.5mm (0.89 inches) across and 8mm (0.31 inches) deep.
Mother-of-pearl is the pearlescent material found on the inside of mollusk shells like abalone, oysters, and mussels, which can be scraped off, sliced thin, and applied to all manner of jewelry.
The Omega Story

But Omega is more than just a fashionable watch. In 1965, the Omega Speedmaster chronograph was "flight-qualified by NASA for all manned space missions" as the only wristwatch to have withstood all of the U.S. space agency's severe tests, including passing grades for extreme shocks, vibrations, and temperatures ranging from -18 to +93 degrees Celsius. The greatest moment in the Speedmaster's history was undoubtedly 20 July 1969 at 02:56 GMT, when it recorded man's first steps on the Moon's surface as part of the Apollo 11 mission. Omega watches rocketed off to space on many subsequent missions, including visits to Skylab and the historic Apollo-Soyuz link-up of Soviet and American astronauts in 1975.
In more recent years, Omega created the world's first self-winding wristwatch with central tourbillon in 1994 and made history in 1999 with the first mass-produced watch incorporating the co-axial escapement, developed in conjunction with renowned English master watchmaker George Daniels. In simple terms, the escapement is the heart of a mechanical watch, generating the impulses that make the mechanism move. Omega's Co-Axial Escapement drastically reduces the friction among the parts that transmit energy to the other components, producing greater stability and precision and reducing service requirements.
Today, Omega is known for its rigorous testing of new movements, cases, and bands. Each new Omega movement is tested on the wrist in existing Omega models, while various laboratory tests are conducted to determine temperature-resistance, shock-resistance and vibration-resistance.
Customer Reviews
Amazon has turned into a bunch of crooks
Just as I was about to write my own angry review, I read the one before me. It looks like others are having the same problem. I also ordered this item and got the cheaper model. That is not the end of it. I returned it and have gotten the run around from amazon for the last 2 and a half weeks. For 2 weeks they kept telling me the "jewelry dept" is working on processing my return. Then suddenly they decided they never received the watch back. When I supplied a UPS tracking number showing amazon received the watch - the new answer is "wait until December 14." Meanwhile, on their advice, after I shipped the first watch back I ordered a second watch - also a cheaper model. Now I have to fight them to get almost $6,000 credited to my card.
RIP OFF!!!! - Don't buy expensive watches from amazon.
Ripped off AGAIN!!!
Like others before... ordered the one with diamonds around the bezel and got the cheaper one without. Looks like Amazon found a great way to increase profits!
AMAZON RIP OFF!!!
I ordered 1267.75. Amazon sent the right box, but the wrong CHEAPER 1262.75. Probably someone at the warehouse wanted a better watch and made the switch. BUYER BEWARE!!!
