Album Description
Producer/promoter Andrew Lojero worked closely with 16 different LA-based musicians including Flying Lotus, Nobody, Madlib, Nathan Yell (Aloe Blacc), Adventuretime (Daedelus), the late DJ Dusk, The Gaslamp Killer, Georgia Anne Muldrow, Computer Jay and more to collect new unreleased material from each of them, with each track reflecting the true nature of the Los Angeles underground music scene. For each song selected, Lojero then worked with local visual artists to develop a piece of art that was inspired by each song that will be featured in the CD booklet. This CD is not a compilation but a collection of LA's finest artists.

A snapshot of the underground LA music scene
This compilation is awesome. It's got a little bit of something for everyone. Definitely a crossover album that's hard to define using a single genre. Just Begin by Race of Angels and All the Shallow Deep by Nobody presents Blank Blue are two of my favorite tracks. This CD gives listeners a tantalizing taste of a group of artists that are seldom heard...but ought to be. Sometimes mellow, sometimes edgy...this album will keep you in fascinated suspense.
This art should sleep
Typical experimental b.s. The only track worth anything is the one by Free Moral Agents
