The Vantagepoints gift: Joyously helping us learn from our own lives
As a coach I have found there is no better way for those in my care to learn with complete joy and remember a lesson most easily than in the telling of a story, and Author Kevin Eikenberry is an engaging, wonderful storyteller. Read Vantagepoints on Learning and Life, and not only will you have new stories to inspire you, to learn from, and to teach with, you will be inspired to live your own life's stories with sharpened focus and energy.
After I had read this book, I sat at my desk, and I wrote scores of notes, gleaned from my memory of those times I felt I had learned something from my parents, my siblings, my husband, past mentors, and most of all, my children. I wanted nothing more in those moments of passionate writing, than to capture for eternity the lessons of my own life, to celebrate what I knew, and to have the raw emotion of the learning stories I could also tell of.
In revealing glimpses of his life, Kevin Eikenberry has given us something extraordinary: The opportunity to feel the victorious learning of our own lives once again in their full, very human glory.
Don't just read it, implement it in your life
Don't just read this book, take it to heart and implement many of the insightful acts that Kevin gives you in this book! I love the book, I am an avid reader of many different venues, especially uplifting guidebooks, this is one I keep out on the table so that I can pick it up often and use it!
This is a book of truths and wisdom, a great read for everyone you know!
