Nice gloves
The gloves are nicely padded and fit well and are comfortable to ride with and they offer great protection in falls, BUT they have not eliminated hand numbness. I have some Pearl Izumi gel lite gloves which cost less and are at least as good if not slightly better at preventing numbness. I do about 2000-2500 miles a summer of road biking so I spend some time in my gloves and would love to discover a pair that truly prevents numbness (I doubt such a pair exists at any price).

Not the Glove it used to be
I've purchased several pair of the Ironman Cycling Gloves in the past and have always thought they were the best for long rides. This latest version is definitely not as good. The padding seems to be only half as thick as the previous gloves. I would not have bought them if I could have tried them first, I made the mistake of assuming they were the same as the older versions.

Feel great, frail construction
These gloves are the most comfortable gloves I"ve ever owned. They really do decrease numbness. Unfortunately, on their maiden voyage, a 15 mile road ride, the thin, soft leather thumb crotch tore - and not at a seam. Also, the leather palm was already showing signs of sueding. As soon as they start manufacturing the palms out of hide leather, I'll be first in line to buy another pair.
