It Floats
This is pretty straight forward. I used this on my family's recent trip to Hawaii -- perfect attachment to our 790. You can slide the strap up your arm and 'synch' it with the adjustable tightener (the black "ball" in the photo.)
The quick release clip makes it easy to remove when you do not want it attached to the camera.

And yes - it floats the camera - no problem at all.

camera saver
This strap kept us from losing the camera. First of all, you can't tell from the image that it's pretty small, so it doesn't really get in the way. We took the camera (with strap) snorkeling, cave tubing, and kayaking in Belize. In the cave at one point, my husband dropped the camera without realizing it and it started floating away, but was immediately spied by one of our companions. It also gave us great peace of mind while snorkeling and kayaking that if we let go of the camera we wouldn't lose it.

Five stars, only five? This thing deserves 10+!! It's clearly visible, it floats like a champ and very comfortable to use. Can be unclipped when not needed as well. Now that's all you really need to know folks!
