This is a nice addition for my elementary/intermediate stage. It has a lot of exercises. I've been working with it for a while. The beginning is great, it shows you all the similarities between Spanish and English. Then it gets slower, sometimes almost too slow for me. It keeps adding exercises on the same old stuff. I'll try to finish it though.

Time to build more vocabulary! I like that every word is used in a sentence! Great book!

At this point this should be a good review, and I hope it will be a nice change to focus less on grammar. I expect this to improve my reading skills, and consequently my fluency quite a bit.

Overwhelming reviews! I expected something different though... It explains some mistakes that beginners make, often embedded in funny stories. However, it doesn't 'teach' you a whole lot of Spanish. Nevertheless, it's entertaining and useful. Maybe it well get different towards the second half of the book.

I really like the format of the Practice Makes Perfect series. There are a lot of great Spanish textbooks but a month later you don't remember anything... This series is different. I hope this book will be as good as the other two from this series that are on this list.

This positively reviewed book should help me understand more slang and speak more like natives.

This one is both advanced and completely in Spanish. Hopefully the last grammar book I need. I will work through it but at the same time it's also meant to be a reference book for the future.
