This is absolute necessity for HS 4-H & FFA kids in careers5
This is the only information for kids interested in Equine Science and taking Careers class in Jr.HS. & HS. There is nothing on the internet that compares to the info in this book about the Horse industry as this book covers. Even college kids could use it but best for HS. There are too many teachers out there thinking that horse careers only cover training kids & horses, or cleaning stalls. There are many 4 yr. programs now in the Equestrian AND the Equine world. Maybe by showing them this book, more teachers will realize that a kid can make it, teach how to make it, & what to expect. Then horse kids will be less likely to be teased at school if more kids realize there is more to horses than cleaning stalls! The horse kids now will know they can make a living doing what makes them happiest.

Informative and extremely useful5
50 careers with horses is a must for anyone interested in a career with horses whether it be life's ambition or part time passion. The career descriptions are accurate and extremely informative. I utilize this book with all of my students who are interestd in the horse industry. I wish it had been around when I was a kid, not that I would change a thing.

excellent review of job opportunities5
I have used this book with 4-H and Pony Club groups. I provides a good understanding of what is required for a particular career, and covers many unique jobs that most people never think about involving horses! A definite must for anyone who is involved in helping students decide what they would like to be when "they grow up".
