The message is the point -- Intelligent training isn't just kind, it's effective!
What ever one may feel about the details of Mr. Roberts' journey, this book is an involving and good read through which to experience a non-violent approach to communicating with horses (and, by extension, with people). Detractors are, to some degree, living in fear and denial. Perhaps they've only known brutality.
