Turn the Ringer Off...
Don't miss important calls when the ringer is off. The Light-Up Indicator at the base of the antenna will flash quickly to show that you have an incoming call, and it will flash slowly to let you know you have a new message in your voice mailbox¹. You can also choose up to three different light-up indicator colors to link to your pre-programmed phonebook data. Light-Up ID¹ requires corresponding Caller ID information to be received from an incoming call.

Great phone, no complaints
Works great, good sound. I wanted a 5.8 phone to avoid interference problems. I wanted a phone without an answering system because my phone provider (Vonage) does answering. This phone fit my needs perfectly. A nice feature is the local name/number database, which the phone uses before it uses caller ID, so you can put your own names on inbound callers. I think it lets you assign ring tones too, but I don't use that feature. It also interprets the "you have voicemail" codes from your service provider so it can display "new voice mail" when your provider has new voice mail messages.

Great pair for your house.
Nice phone, nice to have two handsets, and nice not to interfere with your wireless. Wasn't sure if this is set was Digital (it was), but the price was really attractive. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

Panasonic 5.8 GHz Cordless
These phones are lightweight, with good clarity and range, and long-lasting batteries. The menus are so intuitive that I haven't read the manual (yet).
