MY LITTLE MIRACLE
Being a 1st time mom and a diabetic, I fall into the "High-Risk" category. I was constantly in an anxious state. I wanted peace of mind.

After looking at dopplers all over the internet, I found most of the good ones to be astronomically priced. One day, I stumbled onto this site and read all the reviews. I figured I'd take a chance so I ordered my Angelsounds Doppler.

As soon as I got it, I ran into my bedroom, slathered some oil on my tummy and began the exploration. Within 3 minutes I heard that distinctive "swoosh" sound. I am nowhere near being a small girl. I was plus-sized before I was even pregnant. I'm only at 14 weeks so I was EXTREMELY impressed by the volume of the heartbeat and the ease in finding it.

I HIGHLY recommend this doppler. I have been able to sleep soundly ever since I purchased it. You won't regret this purchase!

Here are some tips:

1. You don't have to buy the gel. Just use water or baby oil and you should be just fine.

2. Move the doppler EVER SO SLOWLY across your tummy (about 3 inched below the belly button). I start from the left then make my way to my right. If you still don't hear anything. Press down harder and start over.

3. Turn off all TVs, radios, fans, air conditioner and make sure no one speaks while you are searching for the heartbeat. It's very easy slide over the baby and miss the beat.

4. The doppler comes with 1 headphone set but you can connect any other headphone set you have around the house so that family or friends can join and listen also.

5. Some connection wires are included so that you can hook up to a radio for that "SURROUND SOUND" feel or to a computer for recording purposes.

This is a wonderful product, I strongly recommand it to anyone pregnant.

Two things you need pay attention:
1) the battery is still in plastic package, you have to open it and install it back. it's a little hard for me to take it out at first, since I'm worried broken it.
2) don't forget put some water on your skin, without water/gel, I can't hear anything.

I love it! Easy to use and works every time!
I love this product! I received it at 11 weeks and was able to hear my baby's heartbeat after about 1-2 minutes of searching the first time I tried it. (However, I am pretty thin, 5'5" 112 lbs, I don't know how well it would work for someone a lot heavier). At first I had to press down fairly hard on my lower abdomen to hear it. Now I am 12 weeks and can hear it more easily. I have been able to find the heartbeat within a few seconds each time this week. The heartbeat is loud and clear! It is so reassuring to be able to "check on" my baby whenever I want. I looked at a lot of fetal dopplers online and this was by far the most inexpensive product. It does not measure the heart rate for you like many of the other ones do, but you can always count it yourself with a stopwatch or watch with a second hand. I have not yet tried recording the heartbeat, but there is a cable included to do that. There is also a second jack for a second set of headphones, but only one set comes with the device.
