Sing the Praises for Sid Kemp
Project Management DeMystified not only dymystifies project management but is a whole course in emotional literacy. I am new to board development, grant development and award processes, and working with large groups of people. I know that coming to agreements with people who have the skills to maintain agreements is the key to good project management whether it is in the school, or office, or home. Mr. Kemp masterfully shows readers how to come to workable agreements. Also, the tone of the book is gentle and kind. I highly recommend this book for anyone who wants to navigate life with greater ease.
Not for business only
This book is not only for businesses. It is for anyone who has to work with others to get any project done: non-profit agencies, religious institutions, community groups, service organizations, you name it. As a rabbi, I have worked with many groups in these categories, and the work would have gone much more smoothly had we all read -- and absorbed -- the lessons in this book.
There is great wisdom here, but it is offered in a friendly, conversational style.
Highly recommended for anyone who has to work with others.
Project Mgt Demystified is my Bible for Project Management
I have read Project Management Demystified and it has been extremely helpful in helping me get my projects back on track. I have written down the 6 keys to project success on my white board so that I can refer to them several times daily. It is an excellent source on ideas for project management and soft skills. Project Management Demystified has become my Bible for Project Management. I take it with me everywhere!
