Great Guidebook
I have been using Fodor's Guidebooks since my honeymoon in 1994. I really enjoy the organization of the book. There are sections devoted to main attractions, hotels, restaurants, shopping etc. Each of these sections are then divided by area of the city, and then by price or specialty. Therefore, as you find youself in a certain part of the city visiting a certain site, you can quickly find a great place to eat at the budget you need or shop for specialty items. My husband and I also enjoy antiques, and these guidebooks always help us find both the main antique shops, as well as flea markets. The Fodor's Choices, in all price ranges, have never failed to please. Great tips for avoiding lines and crowds. I would recommend any of the books from the series.

A great guide book
My friends and I got a great deal of use from this guide book. The book is quite thick with lots of information in regard to the main sites,hotels,restaurants,shopping,etc. We would usually plan out our days by writing the addresses of our intenderd destinations on a small sheet of blank paper and hitting the streets with a good map. Eating in Paris is not cheap,so plan on going to the affordable (and delicious) food stand-type places for lunch and dinner unless you have lots of money to burn. Get the the Fodor's Paris guide book with the laminated Streetwise Paris map and you will be all set for a great visit.

Great Guide
I ordered in total 4 books for my trip to Paris. Though it was my 5th trip, this book offered the most detailed guide, using maps. Even though heavy, this was the book we carried with us daily.
I will always use Fodor guides when travelling.
Highly recommended.
