T. D. Jakes is the pastor of The Potter s House, a 30,000-member megachurch in Dallas, Texas. This highly sought conference speaker, Grammy Award nominee, and entrepreneurial trainer was listed by Time magazine as one the twenty-five most influential evangelicals in America in 2005. But few people realize that just twelve years ago, he was the pastor of a church of fifty families in West Virginia.
Here is a story of what is possible for those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Thomas Dexter Jakes spent an impoverished childhood in the Appalachian Mountains. Entrepreneurial seeds were
planted and bore fruit when, as a teenager, he shouldered the responsibilities of running his deceased father s business. He also overcame the seduction of drugs and crime. From the trials and triumphs of T. D. Jakes, you will learn the power of vision, responsibility, integrity, and faithfulness. More importantly, you will know beyond a doubt that with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26).

Breathe taking! Powerful! Insightful!
This book gave a powerful glimpse into the lens of America's best preacher, T.D. Jakes. It explains how his ministry started very simple and has become the tone of Americans, whether believers or unbelievers alike. I am captivated how even through economic success, he never stopped preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ and taking the message of the Kingdom from the neighborhood to the nations. We are blessed to appreciate the gift of God, through his servant, the honorable Bishop T.D. Jakes!
