Fantastic Book5
The cover on the American version is much different -- and better -- than the one shown here. This book is bursting with great stuff, and even includes some wonderful patterns for a cute adult flower granny jacket,
adorable baby booties, fashion tops, pillows, afghans and my favorite -- a mini bag with a crocheted Siamese cat motif.

The book is worth its price for just one thing alone: a well-done set of crocheted letters, forming an
alphabet. Each letter is individual to use as you please. But it's also full of wonderful flowers, motifs of
all shapes and sizes.

There are delightful touches, such as a leaf with a ladybug, a Scottie Dog block, a fish block, a darling sheep, plus many more blocks of all types and shapes, ranging from the easy to the intricate. A paisley motif
(much better than the one shown on this cover) is a great find. From hearts to trees, if it can be crocheted,
you'll find it here.

Photography is good and shows all stitch detail. Symbol charts as well as written instructions are provided for most of the designs.

A useful and really fun book, it would make a great gift for a crocheter.

Love it!5
This is a great book! Not only does it have varied and interesting crochet motifs, but the author has a sense of humor which comes through in her writing. I never learned to read or use the crochet diagrams, but it looks like the instructions are very easy to read and follow. She has a pattern for the cutest little fluffy sheep so I'm going to crochet a "field" of green and then applique the sheep. It will make a darling blanket. Maybe I'll add some flowers (many patterns to chose from) as the edging. This is a great book with fabulous color photos and has given me ideas for many projects. I'm impressed.

One thing would've made it GREAT4
The book has great pictures and explanations. One thing that would have made it unbeatable is if each sample shown told the crocheter the size hook used and finished size of each project. From there, you could scale up or down to your desired outcome.
