After a year, I'm still impressed
This watch is a lightweight (nowhere near as heavy as a Rolex, Panerai, or other Patek - it's barely noticable on your wrist) sport watch with a beautifully styled band. It is a less expensive entry model for anyone wishing to enter the world of Patek ownership. For me, the size of this watch is a testament to superior watchmaking. Many prefer the larger size (called "jumbo" and numbered 5065-1A to this "midsize"), but I treasure what must have been a greater challenge of creating a calendar watch in this size case as opposed to a larger one. I've owned this a year, and I get as many compliments on its looks as I do with my solid gold Rolex, or my SS Daytona. It's a joy to own and a pleasure to look at. I wish it had a longer power reserve, though, and for that reason (and that reason alone), I don't give it the full five stars.
