Another book on Shibori techniques4
I've been working with fabric manipulation, including shibori dyeing techniques, for years. Shibori Designs & Techniques by Mandy Southan has wonderful pictures and clear, easy-for-beginners explanations of a wide range of traditional shibori techniques. I've been recommending it to other fabric artists.

A technique for every level of dyer4
I was looking for one particular technique for shibori and this one answered all my questions. It has techniques for every level to dye a piece of fabric turning it into a gorgeous piece of art that you won't want to cut up.

Good Tools for the Beginner4
I was first drawn to Shibori from a book that jumped off the shelf at me in an art supply store a few years ago. I didn't know how I could actually learn to do them and circumstances were such that I didn't follow up on beginning, but deep down I knew I would eventually begin working with these techniques. This book has offered that opening - pictures aplenty with instructions under each. I'm visually oriented, and this helped alot! Her directions are primarily for the beginner, and have me wanting to advance. I'm glad I bought the book.
