not loud enough
I bought this for my 4 year old grand daughter. She likes to run ahead and hide. I tried this in a parking lot, she was 4 cars away and I couldn't hear it. Great idea, I was disappointed.

stores only
this is great when you are shopping and kids are hiding in the clothing racks...But terrible for crowded places. You can't hear it over the voices of others. I thought it would be great for our trip...so wrong. It does not attach to your toddler very well either. My son can rip it right off, even if it is placed on the back of his pants.

Nice idea, but bigger pain than help
I tried this product on a trip to Disneyland. I put it on the back collar of my son's shirt (only place he wouldn't try to mess with it). We were using a stroller and when he'd lean back it hit a button on the bug or something and made it beep. This happened enough times I just took it off after only about 5 minutes. In the product's defense, my son is only 2 and at that age it was better for me to use the harness "leash" type-thing (that I used to hate the idea of until I had a child) when he is running around and other times have him in the stroller. For a child a little bit older (who wouldn't probably want to ride in a stroller)it might work better.
