Happy with this training tool
I enjoyed using this tool to practice for the PMP exam.
I did pass on the first shot and what i did was went through Rita's PMP exam book once. I don't like memorizing and would rather get hands on studying and this did that.
Books and software you really cant compare, everyone has their own unique learning style. What I like about this better than other software is the questions display in random order each time you take an exam, so I didn't get accustomed to the way the questions are presented.
But for me I like the program more and feel it had a greater impact on my successfull completion of the PMP exam. My scores increased steadily and passing higher after each exam and my actual score on the official exam matched the passing scores of this practice program.
Very dissatisfied with this product
I was hoping that for $60 I would get a good software that would simulate the PMP exam. I was excited to get 2000 questions to prepare for the exam.
Several of the same questions are repeated within the exam (I had at least 20 questions repeated multiple times in 1 exam). I also had at least 4-5 questions asking to calculate the PV and provided different numbers, again same questions over and over.
I have not seen 1 question around Network diagram or calculating ES, EF, float.critical path...etc.
If you want to truly simulate the PMP examp I would not recommend this software.
Oh, and BTW the "software" is an access database with some visual basic coding.

Useful, but many errors, poorly quality controlled
The questions were very good and insightful. HOWEVER...Many times it would list my answer as the expected answer, but list a different choice letter as the answer. Guess that makes the conservative output a little better, but, of course, I don't know if it was scoring wrong answers as right, either.
