Senator engineering with light weight aluminum spools, stainless steel ball bearings and high gear ratios gives you a reel that is ideal for both saltwater trolling and specialized casting. All models feature the HT100 Star Drag system for smooth and durable stopping power. Lightweight aluminum spacer bars, sealed side plates, double metal ring reinforcers, convertible handles for speed or leverage harness lugs and heavy duty clickers. The 114HL and 114HLW feature extruded aluminum crescent-shaped frames. The new frames take the place of spacer bars and frame posts and lock into a one piece reel stand. The contoured rear cutout on the frames allows more thumb contact on the spool for casting or free spooling. A lightweight aluminum frame is used to help reduce overall weight.
