The book's goal is to promote the sharing of information, experience, solutions, and insights in order to help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to improve their quality of life. The editors have toned down Ontario-specific material, added information that compares definitions, trends, and systems worldwide, and included resources available in different countries, to reshape for international audience.
This book will be divided into six sections: Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, Etiology and Conditions, Support and Intervention, Developmental Disabilities Through the Lifespan, Health, and The Future.

Customer Reviews
poor condition when received it
The shipping was fast, price was good. But very disappointed when I received it. The cover and back of the book looks like an old book, old and dirty!
Horrible Book
This book is written by so many authors that it is not cohesive and reading it is a struggle.
