Editorial Reviews

Amazon.com Product Description
Biting fleas are more than just a nuisance for your cat. Left unchecked, they can cause serious disorders such as flea allergy dermatitis, secondary skin infections, tapeworms, and even anemia. This topical flea treatment stops fleas before they become a problem. Providing a full month of protection, it begins working in minutes, killing 98 to 100 percent of the fleas on cats within 12 hours, and 99 percent of flea larvae within 20 minutes. Plus, since dead fleas can't lay eggs and dead larvae can't hatch, it halts the flea's life cycle. Any new fleas the cat encounters are killed within two hours--preventing re-infestation for as long as four weeks. In fact, Advantage does such a good job breaking the flea's life cycle, there's no need to treat your cat's environment. Applied before the start of flea season, it helps keep your cat from becoming infested in the first place. Used year-round, it prevents fleas from over-wintering in your home to feast on your cat the next season. Safe for kittens as young as eight weeks and as small as nine pounds, the package includes six pre-measured doses in easy-to-use applicator tubes.

The best flea treatment5
I have been using this for a year on my dog and 3 cats. As long as you put it on at the same time every month, you will have no problems with fleas. I don't see them scratch and itch during the month, and I never see any fleas. You spend a little more for it but it is worth it.

Advantage Topical4
I've been using Advantage for a few years, and it definitely helps with my cat's flea problem. It was really nice to be able to purchase this product for less than I normally pay at the vet.

Works fine5
This product worked fine. We have an inside cat that is allergic to fleas and she gets them very very easily. After the first application she still has a few fleas but this is typical of any product we have tried so far. After the next application they will be all gone.
This product was also a lot easier to use than some of the others we have tried.
