Customer Reviews

Well organized!!5
I like how the book is structured. So it's easy to read and understand. And the practice test also help.

GED preparation manual5
I'm very happy with this book I had purchased it for a friend of mine that is working diligently towards completion of her GED but was struggling. This book has really helped her. My only complaint was there isn't a lot of explanation for pre-algebra, only states examples. Thanks again!

The actual GED is a cakewalk compared to this book.3
This book guarantees higher scores on your GED and there is good reason why, their practice tests are about 10x harder than the actual GED tests.

That's not so much a bad thing since it's always good to be over prepared. The book itself is nicely organized, even having a diagnostic test so you know exactly where you are in each area. Includes 2 other practice tests including the answers which do go in detail as to why the other options are not correct. It's also nice because it tells you whether the score you got is good enough to take the GED.

As previous reviewers mentioned, it doesn't go into much detail on the math portion, but honestly, the math in this book is a lot harder than the actual math on the GED test. I did find this book very good in preparing for the language arts, reading, and essay portions of the actual GED, but math? Not so much.

I wouldn't waste my money on the 2009 version of this book. This 2008 version will work just fine.
