A Romantic Times Top Pick! Overworked and underloved, Kelsey is shocked to learn she's been assigned a "fairy godperson" to grant her every wish. Luckily, Sebastian is drop-dead gorgeous, and willing to go the extra mile to cater to Kelsey's romantic desires.

Product Description

She's spent twelve years working tirelessly to feed and clothe disadvantaged families.

Kelsey Schroder always thought that fairy godmothers were the stuff of fairy tales, so when she receives a letter from Faerie Guardians, Inc. informing her of the pending arrival of her very own guardian, she's more than a bit skeptical. She's pleasantly surprised when a ball of light and magic dances into her bedroom and bursts into the form of a person—but she isn't quite prepared for the six feet of sinew and muscle in an orange satin suit that remains when the pixie dust settles.

He's spent two centuries catering to the whims and notions of disadvantaged kids.

Sebastian Phate is accustomed to surprised stares. After all, human children did tend to believe what they saw in the movies, and his profession had always been grossly misrepresented. He did not expect the surprised stare to be on the face of a beautiful shapely woman. Surely there must be some mistake.

Can anyone say 'repressed sexual desires'?

While the FGI takes its time investigating (hmmm…), Kelsey and Sebastian concede that while serving others is rewarding, neglecting self is not. Both find they are more adventurous than they ever dreamed, and together they discover that hedonism is even better than it's cracked up to be.

From the Publisher
2004 Phaze Bestseller! Fairy Godlover is a light-hearted, fun, and sexy romp. Magic, leather, whipped cream and cherries! What more could a girl ask?

About the Author
Devi Sparks has a dirty mind and loves to share it with her readers. A 'good girl' for most of her life and always a late bloomer, Devi didn't arrive at her rebellious teenage years until her late twenties.

Never one to waste a perfectly good rebellion, she is still savoring every unruly whim and notion (though not necessarily acting on them—wisdom and experience and all that 'grown up' stuff *sigh*) and hasn't looked back.

She's an EPPIE Finalist author (under another name in another genre), and is published in both fiction and non-fiction.

Customer Reviews

Great Humor5
Kelsey Schroder is your average thirty- year-old. She works too much, plays too little. Doesn't really have time for a relationship, but often thinks she'd like one. But is there really one out there worth the time, effort, or energy it would take? I mean she has her B.O.B. It services.

Sebastian Phate (Yes, it is what you think. Devi Sparks is a master with wit) has spent two centuries serving. He works as a Guardian. When he is summoned to serve Kelsey, he's surprised to discover a full-grown woman. Grown ups aren't supposed to see him, yet she does. While the governing factors consult and try to discover why he was sent to an adult, Sebastian is ordered to stay and act as Kelsey's guardian. She hopes it takes a long, long time to discover the cause of the mix up. What could be better? Forever?

This is a fantastic story with humor lacing the snappy dialogue, the setting, and the enchantment of possibilities. Devi Sparks grabs the reader's attention from the first page, pulling and pushing until the reader is firmly embedded in the Sebastian and Kelsey's lives. IF you like humor with your hot, I definitely recommend Fairy Godlover.

It was really good.3
I really enjoyed the idea, and concepts that she offered in the book. Some of the dialog is typical, and common. But the story itself is really nicely done. Good reading for a rainy Saturday afternoon.
