Dare Me
Bass guitarist, Cal Briscoe, is in love with Ellie Shaw. Unfortunately for Cal, Ellie is in love with his best friend, Brady Garriston. Now that Brady and Ellie have announced their engagement, Cal cannot allow himself to indulge in the threesomes the couple have always so generously included him in. Heart-broken, Cal decides to take a much needed vacation.
Brady and Ellie insist Cal use their Dareville retreat for the summer. With key in hand, Cal arrives at his friend's home in the dead of night to find that someone's sleeping in his bed. Sue Carmichael, Ellie's best friend, is "cat sitting" while waiting to move in to her new home. Ellie's failure to warn the pair of the other's presence results in a
unusual introduction.
It appears that Ellie's attempt at matchmaking is ill advised as sparks fly between the two. But is it that they are a total mismatch, or is it sexual tension that keeps them at each other's throats?
A lust filled romp, Dare Me will set you on fire! The story starts off with an erotic encounter and the lust level never abates. The menage involving Cal, Brady and Ellie is very sensual and involves some slight m/m interaction. I found it especially erotic.
Cal's unrequited love for Ellie tugs at your heartstrings. But after meeting Sue, he's given a new focus. As their love story progresses, his character develops and shows the maturity of a man in his prime.
This is Leigh Ellwood's second installment in the Dare series, but can be read as a stand alone book. However, after reading Dare Me, I found myself rushing to buy Truth or Dare. Erotic sex abounds in this book and has left me panting for more.
