About the Author
Ernestina Sodi was born in Mexico City. She is the founder and director of Editorial Agueda, and has published several works of fiction and non-fiction. Since her kidnapping, Ernestina has studied the physical and mental conditions of other kidnapping survivors to make sense of her ordeal. She founded the Foundation for the Victims of Crime, which offers medical attention, psychotherapy, and legal assistance to kidnapping survivors. She currently lectures on the topic of crime victims and their recovery and is working on a new book.
