The item in the picture and its description is not what Amazon will ship to you. They must have the boxes labeled incorrectly, because the headset you will receive is a samsung compatible one. BEWARE. I asked for a replacement when I realized, but they shipped me the wrong headset again the second time. Returned both!

Looks great, but the plug didn't fit.
The item I received did not fit my VX8600. There may have just been a mixup in packaging somewhere. The box only said "for LG VX8500" but I've noticed that most things I've shopped for mention both the 8600 and the 8500. No problems returning the item. The plug on the pictured item looks correct and I suspect it is. The item I received was not the same.
