Customer Reviews
I want this album on CD
I, too, want this album on CD. I have all the others, but not this one, which should be on someone's remaster/reissue schedule. I'm curious...is there anyone rich enough or stupid enough to pay the ridiculous prices some sellers ask for out-of-print CDs? If there are people like that, I have hundreds of old CDs I would sell for a hundred dollars each.
I should add that this is a very good album and well worth the price a remastered CD would bring.
RE-RELEASE THIS ON CD!!!
I have everything else Peter Wolf has done and consider him one of the greatest rock 'n' roll people of all time. My copy of this CD was stolen and, because it's unavailable, I can't replace it! Very depressing as it's a great album, not Wolf's best, but one worth having...great party music.
Somebody needs to get on the ball and get this back out on CD in an affordable edition!
I agree with Toomey
There are a few solo artists that I will occasionally check to either see if their past work is on CD or if they have any new material out of late (i.e. L. Buckingham; S. Winwood; etc) and Peter Wolf's "Light's Out" CD is one of them. I purchased the LP back when it was released but would like to pick it up in digital. It is his most pop album ever (even more pop than the last two J. Geils albums) but it was still an ear-candy, melodic record that was fun to listen to.
Sure wish we could pick up a CD on this release!!
