Could potentially damage MacBook
I read reviews before I got this product so I somewhat figured that I would have to use the lint roller when I first got it. I repeatedly lint rolled this sac and it would continue to shed. I decided to use the product anyways for the last month. When I decided to upgrade the ram on my MacBook I airdusted the innner components and there was black fuzz everywhere from this product. The idea of all th fuzz being trapped inside the CPU fan and other components makes it difficult for me to justify using it. I do like the uniqueness of the sleeve but if there was another material used for the inner part of the bag I would he perfect.

Unique and Durable
I have been a proud owner of an Applesac for 2 years. I actually have 2 of them now. I have the original and one in a girlie pattern. I love how unique they are. The original is burlap...,genius! I've also found the Applesac to be very durable. It goes in and out of my backpack more than once a day and there is very minimal wear and tear. I would recommend it to any apple notebook owner.

Great sleeve.
I bought this sleeve when I bought my new aluminum MacBook. I spent days looking at and comparing different sleeves and cases, and this one is just perfect. First of all, I love the natural earthy fabrics offered by the company. One of the reasons I bought the MacBook is because it's more earth friendly than previous generations. I couldn't stand the idea of wrapping such a beautiful machine in a nasty piece of synthetic rubber! All of the AppleSac sleeves are lovely, but I ended up going with this original one because it offered the best deal, and I also enjoyed how different it was.

It shipped quickly and arrived well packaged. When I removed it, I noticed there was some lint in the fleece on the inside, so I ran some tape over it to pick up the extra, no problem. The burlap on the outside was just as expected. The navy fleece inside was very soft. The sleeve is the perfect fit for the MacBook...it fit snugly enough to feel secure, but not so snugly that it's hard to put in and take out. It is not bulky, and provides just enough padding to protect from slight bumps and scratches, but doesn't take up a ton of space. The velcro closure is nice - I didn't want a zipper anywhere near my MacBook, scratching it up. The pocket on the front is large enough for a couple of cds or your charger.

I am very pleased with this sleeve. I will be purchasing more in the future. I recommend it to anyone who wants something a little different to protect their laptop.
