Adequate - but better for cheaper is available
Purchased the Shockboard Fender for my wife's Diamondback. The salesman at the bike shop noting it was good German design should have put me on notice. The body is single piece, so fender assembly and tire removal is hampered with having to wrestle the full fender through and around the brake assembly.

This product was over double the price of the comparable Topeak fender, which also installed in less than 5 minutes, than 15 for the SKS unit. If you travel with your bike and are constantly pulling the front tire off, this may not be your best option.
