Fair for the price
Ok, the good and the bad:
My fenders were bent too, but it was so easy to bend them back to shape. Why? Because they weren't made of real chrome! They were made of some alu/plastic alloy with a muted reflixive coating. I happen to like them more than straight chrome, because they won't rust, and they're much lighter in weight, and not as blinding as chrome.
In fact, the bike is pretty light over-all; maybe it's all the cheap pot-metal parts. I really don't know how long it's going to last.

But then again I haven't ridden it yet (got it five days ago, super quick delivery!) because the shifter was cracked upon delivery. No, really cracked, like totally busted. It's like a single speed till I get that fixed. Which I had planned to do before I even got the bike: I had planned to completely replace the shifter, derailler, and brakes with a good Shimano system.

If you order something like a bike on-line, you have to expect it to be delivered in parts, and if you don't know how (or don't like) to but things like bikes together, then don't get this bike. Me, I saw it from the beginning as a project.

Also, if you're not use to riding a "beach cruiser" type bike, don't buy one on-line. You need to understand that you ride it in an upright posture, not hunched over like on MTB or racing bike. It's just crazy to say you can't stay up on it. Try adjusting the seat on handle bars.

The look:
It's not black, it's a nice dark forest green, with just a hint of sparkle. I was pleasantly surprised with the paint job; i don't think it's going to chip any time soon.
The brown trim we see in the Amazon photo is stickers, so if you don't like it you can peel all the stickers off and have a solid green frame.
The rims, spokes and hubs are all anodized black alumminium, very cool effect against the white walls. My rims and hubs are completely "true," not bent and out of balance.
The seat has a "quick release" bolt/lever (whatever it's called)
which was another nice surprise.

If the shifter wasn't broken, I would've given it 4 stars.

Do not recommend this cycle
The following were the problems:
1. Bent fender - poor packaging
2. Sratches in paint in several areas
3. Three nuts were missing
4. The front wheel hub had lateral play - cannot be fixed
Planning to return cycle if amazon accepts it.

Bicycle
Color was green not the black I ordered.
It came scratched and wheels were out of "tru" like box had been dropped hard several times, brakes were out of adjustment and can not get adjsuted without paying at a bike shop.
Speed of arrival was fantastic.
