Customer Reviews

Great compilation!4
I snagged this album after looking at the awesome track list. First thing I noticed is that "I Wanna Be The One" by Stevie B isn't here, but later I found out that it was on the 2-disc version of this compilation. The single disc version (sold here and retail stores) omits that song.

Otherwise, the rest of the songs are awesome. Like "Diamond Girl," a song that I often heard back in the day. I heard it being played again on the radio like a year or so ago and I couldn't find a compilation CD or an MP3 of the song. When I saw this was included, I knew I gotta have this disc. Another jam that I have not heard in a while would be "Sincerely Yours" by Sweet Sensation. Some of the songs in here were also included in a previous R&T compilation, "Teen Riot," by the way.

I only have one gripe in here, and that would be the final song, "In A Dream" by Rockell, why did they have to fade the ending?? It's not supposed to be like that!

I recommend this compilation to everyone who is interested in this genre.

Now *this* is what you call a compilation!5
Billboard take note!

Every single song on this CD were not only songs that I knew and loved in the late-80s and early-90s, but they were all hits.

"Spring Love" and "Diamond Girl" had alternate mixes that had heavy radio airplay, and the mixes featured here I was pleased to remember (as opposed to being disappointed with a lesser-known mix).

There is one disappointment with this CD and it is that it comes to an end. By the time it has finished playing, though, you'll be in a much better mood. - Donna Di Giacomo

This is great. It's has all the freestyle hits that I grew up with. It's brings me back to a happy carefree time in my life. I think everyone should get it.
