Product Description

Release 1.5- Over 100 new situation questions have been added to release 1.5. What makes PMP Exam Practice Questions and Solutions different from other sample question books? The AME Group has designed the book with the goal of helping students obtain high exam scores. To achieve this goal, this book: * Includes not only a description of why the right answer is right, but why the three wrong answers are wrong. You will get four times the learning from each question. Other books tell you the right answer, but do they really explain why the wrong answer is wrong? How many times have you understood that the right answer is good, but still not fully understood why your answer was wrong? In this book, there is as much focus on the wrong answers as on the right answers to set the record straight. * Provides references; many to the PMBOK Guide for each correct answer. How many times have you wanted to read more about the content of the question, in order to prepare for more exam questions similar or related to the topic, but have had no reference? * Focuses on the exam content, not on the topics of interest to the writers. Focus your time on studying what is on the exam--instead of what is not on the exam. * Grooms students to answer exam questions correctly by practicing test-taking strategies. See Part One for these strategies explained in detail along with sample questions using each of the techniques.

Customer Reviews

Good book for finishing touches on your prep.4
This book lives up to its name - it is full of questions, and it was helpful in testing my knowledge before the exam. I used this book, Andy Crowe's book, How to Pass on the First Try, and the PMBOK. The three books complimented each other well. Andy's gave a great narration of the material on the PMBOK, but was slim on the questions, this book gave me questions, but was slim on the explanations. I would recommend this book to someone who is near the end of his or her exam prep and want's to test their knowledge before the exam. Oh, and just a little detail in case the publisher reviews these....the binding on the book keeps coming undone. This book isn't priced correctly for the poor quality of it. For $50, I would have thought it would be put together better. On a positive note, some of the questions in here were exactly the ones that were on the exam.

Preparing for the (PMI) ® (PMP) ® exam. 5
The "Exam Question Strategy" and the "Types of Questions" detailed in the front of the book were worth the price of the book. The book also provides hundreds of questions and answers similar to other exam preparation books. This book, unlike many others, explains why incorrect answers are wrong and provides references directing the reader to additional sources if needed or desired. This book is an excellent way to review and prepare for the Project Management Institute (PMI) ® Project Management Professional (PMP) ® exam.

Great tool for passing the PMP exam.5
Great book. I used this book as my primary source in preparing for the exam. The format and content of the questions were very helpful in my successful test experience.
