helpful but you need to do more
I passed the PMP exam in my first attempt recently. I used this software in addition to Rita's software. Although this software is useful and the type of questions, wordings and interface are similar to the actual test but the difficulty level of the questions on Rita's software is closer to the actual test.
Hence, use the questions on this CD to start off and gain some confidence but you must buy Rita's software to make sure you prepare well for the actual test. and obviously you HAVE to read the PMBOK.

Bad experience
my feedback after buying this software:

pros:
-cheaper than rita's (but still expensive)
-number of questions (BUT WAIT... i'm not sure, read below...)

cons:
-the same questions are repeated again and again (shuffling problems?)
-many questions are very similar (some words like company name are changed)
-a very useful feature is missing: only show unread questions
-software crashes when too many questions (more than 150) are selected. crosswind's technical support advised to select fewer questions)
-software not very user friendly

hope my feedback will help future PMPs, and make the vendor enhance the product.

Nothing like the test
I studied this almost exclusively and was completely surprised that the test had no questions remotely like this. It is possible that the test has radically changed over time, and if I'd known, this wouldn't have been on my list of study guides. Maybe 6 questions out of 200 on the math (where you didn't have to compute the EV, AC, etc.) -- but had to know how to apply it. Also, lots of questions on inputs into stages and resolving conflict. And much more detailed problems. Fortunately, I passed (I suspect by the skin of my teeth), but not before a lot of panic in the testing room. I feel strongly enough to come back, months after I bought this, to give it this review. If you take the PMP online PMP class, study the chapter questions. However, this won't be nearly enough at 10 questions per chapter -- instead, you'll get an idea as to how the test questions are structured.
