Product Description

Tooru Kouno left a sad family life to live at a prestigious all-boys boarding school. From his very first day, he feels like he's fallen into another world. The boys in his class seem to be strangely interested in his pretty-boy looks. He's shown around by Class President Sakamoto, who is mysteriously bowed to by everyone, even the upperclassmen. Tooru even catches a glimpse of an enchanting red headed Princess. A graceful blonde named Shihoudani finally reveals the school's secret. To inspire the student body, campus pretty boys are required to dress up as girls... and Tooru is on the list!

Customer Reviews

Very nice but lacking5
This series gives a very good example of Japanese view of sexes. Artwork is very good. Wonderful character development. Top points for color and drawing. Wish that it was in English. Most disapointed that very few scenes show the boys as girls.... Very few... This is a pitty as they are drawn very cute as girls. This series is in no way shape or form Hentai..It should have a G rating. OK at the end of the day, if you like the whole "Boys will be Girls" theme, you will be disapointed with this series. Just because the boys are so infrequently shown in their female persona. A pitty.

Princess Princess-Funny Anime5
Plot Summary: When beautiful Tooru transferred to an all-boys school, he received a warm welcome...but little did he know that his new classmates had nominated him for the academy's "Princess System." The lovely campus "Princesses" must dress as girls (in frilly Gothic Lolita costumes) at school events in order to lighten the stolid masculine atmosphere. Tooru balks at first, but soon comes to realize the advantages of being a "Princess."
This series is not really a "Yaoi" type, but does have pretty boys in cute girls outfits. It's more funny than serious and there is one kiss scene but not what you think.

Boys will be girls...5
Tooru is a transfer student who entered the prestigious all boys Fujimori High school. After getting an... enthusiastic greeting from the other students, he is quickly flung into the world of Princesses, who are the prettiest first years chosen to dress as girls to bring excitement to the school and keep up morale. The idea is daunting at first, but the quirks (free meals and supplies, not to mention some spending money) quickly wins him over.

It's a cute series and every one involved is pretty. It's not just fun and games, however, as each of the three princesses, Tooru, the self-confident Yuujirou, and ever reluctant Mikoto, deal with their own personal problems and their growing (PLATONIC)friendships. It's short, and when you finish, you're satisfied, but you can't help but want more from this endearing series. The characters outside of the princess system are also incredibly entertaining; from the student council, the president being a former princess himself, to Akira Sakamoto-sama, the dependable 1st year class president and friend to the princesses.

It's a fun show at a good price and good clip. It shouldn't dissapoint.
