Customer Reviews
A Great Deal for the Budget Gambler
I chose this poker set as a gift for my groomsmen, so I needed something below the $25 mark, but the sets that were about that price added almost $15 in shipping charges. This set qualified for super-saver shipping, so it sealed the deal. However, I was worried about the quality.
When they arrived, I found the case to be surprisingly sturdy. The silver aluminum case is resistant to damage and not bad on the eyes. The chips have a good feel to them, but lack a fancy design. That doesn't really matter when in a heated game, anyway. The chip count is enough for a game with two or three people, but when everybody had their own set, we did not have that problem. However, the cards left something to be desired.
The biggest drawback is that the chips and cards can get shuffled in the case if you shake it too much. Just play nice and everything will stay where it needs to be. Overall, you get more than what you pay for, but if you really need quality, go for the big ones.
Purchased for my nephew
I bought this for my nephew as his first poker set. He loves it. The case is great as he drags the set with him everywhere.
