Marie Segal has helped to elevate the status of polymer clay from a child's modeling clay into a fine arts medium by developing the Premo! Sculpey! Clay for Polyform Products. In addition to teaching internationally, Marie has authored books and videos, appeared on television and has designed for magazines as well as web pages. She and her husband own and operate The Clay Factory, a polymer clay distribution and technical support company in Escondido, California.

Polymer Clay Creations by Marie Segal is a GREAT book!
Marie Segal's Polymer Clay Creations is just about my favorite polymer clay book, and I own about 15 polymer clay books. This book has 11 easy projects you can do, and they are easy, the instructions are easy to follow, and the results are awesome! I did two of her projects as a newbie clay person, and they are among the best I've done.

I definitely recommend this book to clayers of all levels, your results will be great no matter if you are a beginning or experienced clayer.

A beautiful book
I could rave for hours about the combined beauty and simplicity inside this book. I like it so much I'm presently ordering it for xmas! This book is so easy to use it would be appropriate for someone wanting to create elegant yet simple gifts or items etc in polymer clay. Yet because of the simplisticness of Marie's writing it can be folllowed by apsolutely anyone. From beginner/intermediate to expert.

What a great way to spend your weekend!!
As a newbie in polymer clay, this book was a tremendous help. The photos and text have a clean "uncluttered" look to it that don't overwhelm the reader. The projects are simpler than they look and well described by Marie. The only thing missing would be "outtakes" of Marie!!
