This slotted spoon is as sturdy as they come. It's a whopping 13 inches long, the bowl is a full inch and a half deep, and the wide handle feels comfortable in the hand. Four large slots leave grease or cooking liquid behind, making this the tool of choice for scooping dumplings from a pot of broth or greens from their braising liquid. The silicone construction is highly heat resistant, so you can leave it propped up against a skillet without fear of unsightly melt marks, and it won't scratch or otherwise harm your beloved nonstick pans. Fabulous Slotted Spoon / Scoop!
The silicone material is amazing. I love it. This oversized spoon is easily as large as a ladle and it is very sturdy. It can easily handle meatballs, sausage etc. It is especially good for removing meatballs or any meat from sauce. The handle is large and easy to manage. Nothing stains or sticks to the slippery silicone spoon and it is very easy to wash. Very highly recommended! A+!

Superb quality you expect from Kitchenaid
This is a large, relatively heavy spoon which will probably outlast me. I love anything Kitchenaid and this is no exception. Would recommend to anyone buying cooking utensils.

Large and flexable
I have to admit that this is not as handy as I hoped. It is big and clumsy and it's a little too flexable.
