Ample and strong, this silicone basting spoon from KitchenAid gets cooking liquid where you need it with minimal back and forth. Both durable and pliant, the spoon holds 4 ounces at a go and has a nicely arced construction for dipping and pouring. A nice addition to Kitchenaid gadgets!!
This spoon is pretty large in size. I use it more as a ladle than a spoon. It is great for dipping soups in deep pots than shallow ones. Nothing sticks to it which makes it very easy to clean. This spoon looks great hanging up for display along with the other kitchenaid gadgets that match it.
Now this is a spoon!
I've been cooking for forty years and this is the best mixing spoon I've ever had. It's large, strong, and heat resistant. I immediately ordered the matching food turner and slotted spoon. I already owned the spatulas, so I knew the quality of the KitchenAid utensils. And the basting spoon confirmed that opinion.
BIG SPOON
These tools are great, very solid and sturdy, but they almost might be too big and bulky for small dishes. They are definately made for a large casserole and big helpings.
