Each hat features a full brim that continues around the sides and back for cheek, ear, and back-of-the- neck protection. The brim is foam filled, not cardboard, so it holds its shape after getting wet when paddling or in a pool -- and they float! Mesh panels provide for air circulation and moisture release in the child and youth sizes, the dark underbrim absorbs reflective light for eye comfort and the elastic back provides custom sizing for comfort. The child and youth sizes have a chin strap with a cord lock so they do not blow off in the wind! Do not fold these but you can roll and pack flat! Sizing and Head Measurements: To measure your child's head, circle the crown of their head with a string or dental floss (above eyebrows and ears). Use a ruler to measure the string and compare to the below sizes. If in-between sizes, choose the larger. Infant (0-6 months); Baby 17.-18" (6-24 months); Child 18.-19 . (2-5 years); Youth 19.-21. awesome hat.
This hat is just great. my daughter will actually wear it, plus the coverage is great. It looks very comfortable. The only problem, is I feel like the brim would be damaged if you just threw it in a suitcase, so travel is a bit tough unless you are wearing it.

Perfect sun hat!
I purchased one of these for both my 1yr & 6 yr old daughters. They were fantastic at the beach & they're great for walks & playing at the park as well. I had to safety pin one of them to make it a little smaller but am still able to use it a year later. Good buy! (Really does keep faces from getting burned from sun reflecting off water)
