Mini-blenders are great for pureeing food for babies. Cook up some carrots, or just toss in a bit of whatever you're having for dinner (and add a bit of water if needed). Any blender is fine, just make sure it's easy to clean -- if you can separate the cup from the motor to toss it in the dishwasher, that's the best. If you puree a bit extra, freeze it in an ice cube tray to use later.
