It has a straw cleaning rack that hold items upright for the most sanitary cleaning, and a place for all your nipples, valves, straws and more. The two cleaning racks hold 8 straws with it and the nipple sanitizing lid holds 14 nipples. The snap tight lid keeps items secure during wash. It fits in all dishwashers.

The best available...
I have owned other dishwasher baskets but none of them held the large Avent nipples very well. The nipples would often be found at the bottom of the dishwasher because the others would pop open during the wash cycle. However, these Munchkin baskets latch securely closed and hold the larger nipples without a problem. The plastic is very durable. Definitely the best I've seen!
Best dishwasher basket out there!
I have had a few other dishwasher baskets-all were very cheapy and flimsy. This is a very durable basket and holds everything. I really like the straw holder too because it holds all the Dr. Brown's parts.
The Picture Lies!
I actually really like this little basket. It was perfect for washing the little bitty pump parts that drove me crazy in the sink.
However, the picture above showing two rows of each of 6 cheerful nipples all lined up happily is A LIE. I use Avent and Born Free bottles, and the bases of the nipples are in no way small enough to all fit in the basket at once. I have to stagger the nipple placement so that I can fit somewhere closer to 6 total nipples.
