Great all-purpose walk around lens that will give you wide angle and telephoto without needing to swap stuff around. With the walk around lens, the main goal is convenience. It's fairly compact so it's easy to carry around. Given its 19 inch minimum shooting distance, it's also good for macros. Comes with Tamron's version of Image Stabilization -- a must for handheld telephoto shots.

Great wide angle lens. I debated between getting this or the Tokina 11-16 2.8. Ended up getting the Canon for it's greater 10-22mm range. Tokina is faster at 2.8 but I doubt it's that important for my wide angle shots. I'll be using this lens mostly for landscape photography.

Debated between getting this or the Sigma 24-70mm. Both have excellent image quality while much cheaper that the L Lens in this range. I ended up with the Sigma because it could go wider than the Tamron. Can't go wrong with either lens and just depends what other lens you have and how you plan to use them.

This device is excellent for night time photography, time lapse or as a simple wired remote.

Better than carrying a lens cloth. Works fine for Canon lenses.

Excellent ball head for your tripod. The grip handle makes it very easy to make adjustments.

Finally, a camera bag that doesn't scream camera bag. I like being subtle and inconspicuous, especially when traveling. Also the top loading shoulder bag design makes it easy to take the camera out of the bag, shoot some photos and then put the camera back in the bag.

A monopod's great in all the places where a tripod is either not allowed (such as some museums) or inconvenient (hiking, sports stadium). This monopod's light so it's easy to carry around all day and it has unique features to take video with your T1i.
