Amazon.com Product Description
Sophisticatedly elegant, the Reverso Platinum Watch by Jaeger-LeCoultre is a luxury timepiece with an innovative reversible-case design and heirloom quality. This limited edition, hand-wound mechanical movement watch features a platinum bezel, case, and deployment buckle clasp. The blue hands on the gray-toned dial match the blue leather band, and the art-deco style indexes with Arabic numbers are in silver. The dial also offers a small subdial at six o'clock to measure seconds, and the power reserve is conveniently indicated on the arc at 12 o'clock. The reverse side of the case reveals beautifully hand-decorated gears and bolts. The dial window is made of scratch-resistant sapphire, and the watch is water resistant up to 99 feet.
Customer Reviews
A great watch... used
If you're considering this watch, you either know absolutely nothing about it, or you've researched the piece extensively. Or so goes my theory. Nonetheless, I must advise purchasers of every disposition to consider a used (euphemistically 'pre-owned') example. You will save thousands. Many thousands. So many that it almost becomes a reasonable timepiece. Also, if you don't need the tourbillon (and nobody actually does), go for the original JLC Reverso in .950 PT, which can be found for under $9,000USD.
For $83,000 how can you say no.
I was surprised to say the least to find an original LeCoultre here on Amazon and for the outstanding low price of 83k. I went on prime and picked up two, one to give away at my next charity event at the manor. This is one fine time piece and should be at the top of any aspiring gentleman's wishlist.
Now I'm off to beat my man servant and have intercourse with my supermodel barely-legal wife.
SWEEEEET!
I love that this is an extremely wearable every day watch. At the beach or with your best suit it's right at home. If you've got 50 grand to waste on this gawd ugly watch then hey enjoy. Unless you really know this watch and for some reason the price sounds right then who am I to judge.
