Customer Reviews

Extremely strong and concentrated2
I love strong tea and enjoy many of Dr. Weil's other products. I don't drink sodas and was specifically looking for an unsweetened tea product that was convenient to take on trips and in the cooler for special events.

Unfortunately, this tea (and the other Dr. Weil teas I've tried) is so concentrated that I cannot drink it right out of the can. It is produced by the same company that makes Sencha Shots. I don't know if there is something different about their brewing process or if it is more about the type of can used, but both products have (to me) a smell and a consistency that I found to be very unpleasant.

I diluted one can of Dr. Weil's Green/White tea to make an entire pitcher of tea at home and it was drinkable, but not nearly as enjoyable as Tazo I brewed myself.

I found these products at Target so I would strongly suggest buying a single can and trying it before ordering a full case. It seems to be an acquired taste.

Delicious Authentic Green Tea5
This is an excellent purchase for those who have acquired a palette for authentic green tea. It has a strong leafy-vegetable like taste that a high quality green tea should offer. It is extremely pure from the lack of sweeteners and substitutes, leaving you with two simple tastes, tea leaves and water. They typically come in a pack of 30 which is great for me because I can stock my fridge with these and use them as an alternative to coffee in the morning. The quality and convenience is one of the best attributes about this item. Unfortunately, the manufacturer, ITO EN, has recently stopped selling the product. Target has also pulled it from their shelves from lack of sales, but they still carry large bottles of ITO EN green tea with a similar taste. If you are used to drinking Lipton's, Snapple, or any other pre-brewed green tea with a high sugar content I would not recommend purchasing this item. There may be some Target stores out there still selling single cans. If you have the option, I would sample a can before buying a case.

Couldn't find this product locally, but wanted to try it. Amazon to the rescue. I received the product promptly, in good condition, and priced better than other suppliers [due to meeting free shipping requirements].
The product met expections and have reordered since receiving the trial shippment.
