Product Description

This new edition of the popular Fenway guide has been updated with new information throughout, including a chapter that tells you how many rows your seat is from the field - no matter where you sit in the park. The book also tells everything you need to know about going to a game at Fenway Park: how to get tickets, where to sit (and where not to), and the best places to eat, drink, and stay overnight. It explains the dramatic improvements made to the park in the past 7 years, and shows how the new owners have made these changes without altering the essential character of Fenway. In addition, it is the only place you will find detailed diagrams showing exactly which seats have obstructed views blocked by the park's infamous poles. This book is essential for anyone who loves Fenway Park or plans on going there. Buy this book and you will have a great time every time at Fenway, and you will never have to sit behind a pole in an obstructed view seat again.

Customer Reviews

Unbelievable! This book is priceless!5
I am a big Sox fan and I go to a couple of games a year. I always have trouble finding tickets and I have sat behind poles for more games than I care to remember. This book has helped me greatly in two respects. With the amazing diagrams in this book, I won't ever have to sit behind a pole again! But that's not all. There is so much more information that makes the craziness of going to Fenway less crazy and more fun. Where to eat (and drink), how to get there, it covers it all. This is a great book for any Sox fan, even the lucky ones who have box seats. Bravo!

The ideal gift for any member of Red Sox Nation5
If you know anyone who's a Red Sox fan, or a park-hopping baseball fan, or a new Boston-area resident, I can't think of a gift that's more practical and/or entertaining. Shea's charts ensure that you'll have a good view of the game; his materials on where to eat, where to stay, or where to park will help you make your visit that much more enjoyable. (And if you're new to the Nation, his explication of the Red Sox-Yankee rivalry will prove invaluable.)

A great guide to Fenway...5
As a huge, lifelong Red Sox fan, I highly recommend this book. I've attended many games at Fenway in which I was disappointed to find once I arrived at the park that my view was obstructed. This is an excellent and straightforward guide to all of the seats at Fenway and can help fans avoid paying top dollar for seats that block important views like the pitcher's mound. The book also has great tips on restaurants and parking in the area. Overall, a must-have for Sox fans.
