Customer Reviews

These are great!5
Great banana plugs have gotten better. This new iteration of plugs are even easier to use. They make a great connection, are not too long like other plugs, screw together easily and are easy to grip.
These are the best banana plugs I've used.

A Mega Monster Improvement in Sound Quality5
Monster QL GMT-HKII Quicklock Gold Banana Connectors are very easy to attach your speaker wire to. Very easy. Like only a few minutes easy. I had a harder time opening the package than putting the wire and connectors together. And the sound is so, so WOW compared to when I only had the wire wrapped around the connectors. I am amazed at the difference in sound quality. I may just have to consider switching all of the wires and cables for my electric guitars, effects, and amps as well as speaker wire to Monster. My speakers sounded great before using these Monster Banana connectors but now the sound just seems to be floating through the air with no effort at all. I had no idea the speakers I bought some months back were so good. Thanks Monster!

I think these are the best you can buy5
The connection method of these superb connectors is secure, and reuseable. I find that these banana plugs made a very, very secure connection in my Yamaha amp, and take more than just a little tug to remove -- which is a Good Thing. Strip back about 1/4" of the speaker wire and, when inserted, fold it over the crimp point for a secure and more complete connection area. The only "skill" required for these is the ability to strip insulation off speaker wire without cutting off too many threads of the wire bundle. A few practice tries on excess cable with a razor blade and you'll get the hang of it.

The size, color marking, ease of use, and secure connection to both speaker wire (even 16 gauge) and amp/speaker terminal, makes these my absolute favorite. Even though I hate Monster for their predatory trademark infringement claims.
